Product Characteristics:
Analogue for MK Methyl silicone resin with good solubility in various organic solvents.
1. The vulcanization process does not produce any by-products, is non-toxic, and is widely applied to the surface protection of substrates such as building materials, glass, ceramic fibers, plastics, as well as mica and fiber laminate adhesives;
2. It is a condensation cured methyl silicone resin powder containing Si OH, which can be dissolved in solvents such as toluene, toluene, ketones, alcohols (insoluble in methanol and fatty hydrocarbons);
3. The gel speed is fast under high temperature, so it is particularly suitable for automatic production lines. Therefore, rapid vulcanization can be achieved by heating or adding curing agents, or by cross-linking and curing with air medium (wet) to form a layer of hard and smooth protective film;
4. Composite materials made by adding modified resins can be exposed to constantly changing climatic conditions, ultraviolet radiation, and temperatures significantly higher than 300°C (572°F) for a long time, 1.providing waterproofing and excellent electrical insulation performance.
5. It has the lowest carbon content among all organic silicone resins, and after thermal decomposition at room temperature, there is almost no smoke. The SiO2 formed after degradation and other organic fillers, form a strong anti-wear material.

Typical Applications:

1.Adhesives for laminates made of reinforced materials such as fibers, fabric, woven or non-woven materials;
2.Used for laminated and molded products made from inorganic materials such as mica powder, alumina, magnesium oxide, silica, glass cloth, etc.;
3.Coating and impregnation of electrical appliances, capacitors, and voltage coils;
4.Soft magnetic cores such as iron powder cores and iron silicon aluminum powder cores are stirred evenly to form an insulation coating layer on the surface of the magnetic core powder. For iron silicon aluminum magnetic powder cores, the mechanical strength and magnetic flux density of the cores can be significantly improved after high-temperature annealing treatment;
5.Heat resistant fillers, ultraviolet light absorbers, etc. can be added as needed to prepare a temperature resistant coating, which should be applied as a protective coating on the surface of substrates such as incinerators, ventilation, ovens, flues, metal, ceramics, plastics, fibers, etc. A coating with a temperature resistance of over 500℃ can be prepared by adding inorganic fillers.

Method of Use
Substitute for Methyl silicone resin Powder is the ideal product for making tack-free prepregs with excellent storage stability.
1. Powder packaging, first dissolve thoroughly with solvents such as toluene, toluene, ketones, alcohols (insoluble in methanol and fatty hydrocarbons); Then, based on customer’s own process conditions and the specific product produced, choose to directly heat the adhesive or add a catalyst below to accelerate the adhesive:
2. If it is necessary to add various fillers, SilibaseSRY-MK Powder must be mixed evenly with the filler, and before using it, a curing agent must be added and thoroughly stirred to prevent
premature addition of curing agent and solidify the product.

Precautions
1. The resin can be used in the form of powder, water suspension, or organic solvent, but even at room temperature, the shelf life of the resin solution is limited. Please add the catalyst before use. It is recommended to use the solution within 8 hours after preparing the solution;
2. The maximum solid content of the prepared solution should not exceed 70%. To extend the service life of the solution, it is best to add about 5% (weight) of alcohol, such as ethanol or butanol;
3. Due to the different specific processes and application fields of each customer, it is necessary to conduct preliminary testing or small-scale trial based on their own conditions to obtain the best process parameters before large-scale production. Processing
Silibase Silicone produce MK powder is a caustic-free alkaline powder.
The quality of the end product is determined mainly by the concentration of curing agent, the drying and compression temperatures and the pressure employed. The best processing conditions must be determined by preliminary trials. SilibaseSRY-MK Powder may be processed in powder form, as an aqueous suspension and in solution. When it is applied from solution, be aware that the higher the solids content, the lower is the storage stability of the solution. For this reason, we recommend adding at least 5 wt.% of an alcohol, such as ethanol or butanol, to concentrated SilibaseSRY-MK Powder solutions.
The recommended catalyst is 2 – 5 wt.% WACKER Curing Agent F 100%, expressed in terms of the resin employed. After any solvent has been removed, the assembly is cured under heat and, if necessary, pressure (typical curing conditions: 200 °C, 30 - 60 minutes).

1. Shelf life: 12 months after manufacturing (below 25 ℃)
2. Storage method: Keep away from light and store in a cool and dry place
